Elsa is a graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (CNSMDP), where she obtained a Master's degree in piano in the class of Hortense Cartier-Bresson. Curious to discover different visions of music, her path led her to study at the Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg (Germany) as well as at the Universität für Musik in Vienna (Austria), where she obtained a Postgraduate degree in Chamber Music in the class of Avedis Kouyoumdjian.
She won the Concours de Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux and was a finalist at the International Competition for Young Pianists in Ettlingen. She is also a winner of the Mécénat Musical Société Générale. In 2021, she was one of eight pianists accepted as residents of the Académie de Villecroze. She was also selected by the Académie Philippe Jaroussky, where she worked closely with pianist David Kadouch.
As a soloist and chamber musician, Elsa Bonnet has been invited to the Musicales de Colmar, the Petit Palais in Paris, Musique à La Prée, the Festival de Grasse, the Festival du Vexin and the Festival International de Piano de La Roque d'Anthéron. She has also performed at the Victoires de la Musique Classique and La Seine Musicale in Paris.
She has performed with the National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia, the Concert de la Loge, the Ensemble Appassionato and the Webern Kammerphilharmonie in Vienna (Austria). Her career has also taken her across the Atlantic, with regular solo and chamber music appearances in New York.
In 2023, Elsa was invited by the Opera of Dijon to take part in the production of Hänsel & Gretel. The following tour took her to the Théâtre du Jeu de Paume (Aix-en-Provence), the Opera of Dijon and the Scène Nationale d'Annecy. Her first CD dedicated to Schumann, Haydn and Debussy will be released in 2024-2025.
