She is a graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique (CNSM) in Paris, where she obtained a Master’s degree in piano under Hortense Cartier-Bresson. Eager to explore different approaches to music, she furthered her studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (Austria), where she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Chamber Music under Avedis Kouyoumdjian.
She is a prize-winner of the Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux Competition and a finalist of the International Competition for Young Pianists in Ettlingen. She is also a laureate of the Société Générale Mécénat Musical. In 2021, she was one of eight pianists accepted as residents at the Académie de Villecroze. She was also selected by the Académie Philippe Jaroussky, where she benefited in particular from the guidance of David Kadouch.
As a solo pianist and chamber musician, Elsa Bonnet has been invited to perform at the Petit Palais in Paris, the Grasse Festival, the Festival du Vexin, and the La Roque d’Anthéron International Piano Festival. She has also performed at the Victoires de la Musique Classique in Paris.
She has performed concertos with the Armenian National Chamber Orchestra, the Concert de la Loge, the Ensemble Appassionato and the Webern Kammerphilharmonie in Vienna (Austria). Her career has also taken her across the Atlantic: she has performed in New York as a soloist and in chamber music.
In 2023, she was invited by the Dijon Opera for the production of Hänsel & Gretel, and took part in the subsequent French tour. The year 2025 saw the release of her first solo piano album, dedicated to the music of Haydn, Schumann and Debussy.

Elsa Bonnet obtained her
Certificat d'Aptitude from
the National Conservatory of Paris.
She created and directed the show '&Motions', a project bringing together student pianists and dancers. Her Master's thesis was on Claude Debussy's Preludes, which she studied from an aesthetic point of view.
She is occasionally invited to teach at the Pôle Supérieur de Boulogne-Billancourt, the CRR de Paris and several Parisian conservatories. In 2024, she was invited by the CRR de Paris to be a member of the jury for the entrance examination for the professional cycle.
She is a laureate of the Concours de la Fonction Publique Territoriale and teaches her own piano class. Her vision of piano teaching is a mixture of high standards, benevolence and curiosity.
